God-centered

Recently I've been reading a book called "It's Not About Me" By Max Lucado. He talks about how we have been pushed into a lie, "Its all about me." When its NOT just about me.
"You see suffering differently. 'My pain proves God's absence' would be replaced with 'My pain explains God's purpose.'
Ptolemy-type thinking says, 'It's mine I'm going to enjoy it.' God-centered thinking acknowledges, 'It's God's, I Have To Respect It."

Lately I've been in that situation when I think about me and not what God wants me to do. At that point I'm putting myself at the center of my universe.
God should be at the center.

So I want to ask you,
"Who is at the center of your universe right now?"

I also watched this video from Brandon Heath where he asks us three things:
1.
"What is your Eden, when was there a time when you felt the most innocent?"
Me, it's reading the Bible, getting plugged in with God. Knowing more about Him.
2.
"What is you apple, what is stealing your innocence, what is taking you away from Eden?"
For me, it's movies that don't have to do with the bible, and sometimes books.
3.
"What is your heart, what are some things you want to do but you are afraid to do it? You see, God LOVES our heart."
Me, I LOVE music, I love to sing and make music for the Lord.

I encourage you to ask yourself all of these questions too. Put God at the center of your universe if you haven't already.

(A Thought Question)
If strangers looked at your
belongings, your activities, and your
actions, who would they see at the
center of your universe?

Something to think about.

God Bless,
